The City of Hollywood Florida was feeling a little envious of some of its neighbors who have more colorful and attractive lifeguard shacks/stations. Thankfully, the city is replacing all of its aged shacks with, at least, better looking ones.
Here is one of these “over-priced” units, that cost the city “$117,000 apiece for six first-aid stations and $90,000 apiece for 15 lifeguard towers” according to the Sun-Sentinel.
