Posted by Over the years I have taken several sunrise shots. Some time ago as I was looking through a bunch of them, I noticed that too many of them looked a lot like others. Now this is to be expected since I basically shoot what I see. I can’t re-position the clouds to my liking or command the rays to appear when I say so. However, after much thought I started to “add” certain elements to my images to make it interesting, different and inspiring.
One element I like a lot is silhouettes, human, buildings or palm trees. This morning I walked about 6 blocks to find the “right shape” of the palm trees that would give the image a little flair. The image below was the best palm tree silhouettes I found this morning. What do you think?
