Who Ruffled the Cardinal’s Feathers?

I spotted this male Northern Cardinal one Sunday morning while walking the Plantation Preserve Linear Trail. My first impression when I was him was, had he been in a fight? It seemed like someone had ruffled his feathers. Regardless of appearance, the brilliant plumage of the male Cardinal is a wonderful sight to behold.
